HEREL Play –
Food & Beverages Terms and Conditions

To ensure a seamless and premium guest experience, the following terms and conditions govern the policy on food and beverage within the HEREL Play premises:

1. In-House Offerings

HEREL Play provides a curated selection of food, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase within the premises. Guests are encouraged to explore our menu options, designed to suit a variety of preferences and enhance their overall experience.

2. Restriction on External Food and Drinks

To maintain the integrity of our food and beverage services and comply with safety and hygiene standards, external food and beverages are restricted to some extent within the HEREL Play facility in line with exceptions.

3. Exceptions

Certain exceptions may apply for items that are:

  • Not available for sale within HEREL Play.
  • Pre-approved by management before the intended date of consumption, where the corkage fee will apply.

Guests must submit a request for any external food or beverage they wish to bring in, specifying the item(s) and reason for the request. Approval is at the sole discretion of HEREL Play management.

4. Corkage Fee

Guests who wish to bring in external items must obtain prior approval. Upon approval, a base corkage fee of ₦500,000 will apply. This fee may increase depending on the nature, quantity, and quality of the items being brought in. The final applicable fee will be communicated to the guest upon approval of their request.

5. Liability Disclaimer

HEREL Play assumes no responsibility for the quality, safety, or potential allergic reactions associated with external food or drinks brought onto the premises by guests, even if approval has been granted.

6. Enforcement

HEREL Play reserves the right to inspect bags or packages upon entry and to deny access or service to guests who do not comply with this policy.

7. Event Booking Terms

All event bookings at HEREL Play are subject to the following terms:

  • A deposit of 50% of the total sum is required to secure all bookings.
  • Balance to be made 2 weeks before the full booking date.
  • Until the deposit is received, your date is not confirmed and may be released to another client.

8. Cancellation Terms

Cancellations result in the following refund structure, excluding the non-refundable deposit:

  • 30 days or more before the event: 85% of the balance is refundable.
  • 15–29 days before the event: 50% of the balance is refundable.
  • 7–14 days before the event: 30% of the balance is refundable.
  • Less than 7 days: No refund will be issued.
